Canadian lumber production drops 2.5% in September

Lumber production in Canada fell 2.5% from August to 5 385.4 thousand cubic metres of lumber in September. Production was 3.8% lower than in September 2017.

Canadian sawmills shipped 5 360.4 thousand cubic metres of lumber in September, down 9.0% from August and 6.0% lower than in September 2017.
